My main responsibilities as a property manager are…

I am a property manager. My main responsibilities include maintaining the physical needs of single family rental homes while supporting and engaging the current leasing tenants as they transition to home ownership. Among other professional experience, I offer thirty plus years of understanding and achievements in regional and area operations, training, compliance, and property management for conventional and program housing for single family and multifamily  properties. My academic background in social communications, psychology, and education demonstrates my sincere desire to continue helping people on a level that helps them to always be seen and heard, while championing concepts that support the belief that taking care of people first will always ensure success no matter what the subject matter is. Maslow had it right!

When I’m not working I am…

When I am not at work, I can often be found taking care of my immediate and extended family, loving on my grandkids, participating in community service opportunities, watching football, reading books, writing, and dreaming about retirement when I can go back to playing in pool tournaments, going whitewater fishing as often as possible, and living in McCall again! More specifically though, I spend time every day thanking God for each and every day he continues to allow me to be here.

I’m in nonprofit, and specifically inspired by LEAP because…

I know firsthand what it is like to wish for the basic needs that everyone deserves to have and wonder why it is not so easily attainable. I also know what it is like to be a statistic in many circumstances under the umbrella of financial and housing instability. For those reasons, I want to be a part of organizations like LEAP that work tirelessly to solve those challenges when the solutions often offered by others are unrealistic. I am inspired by people that can see what others can’t and can put dreams into action instead of letting them collect dust on the shelf. Humanity begins and ends with helping others gain the necessary foundation of physiological needs. Without them, self-actualization is difficult to realize.
