affordable housing takes a village.

We’re up for the Challenge

The Builder’s Network exists because of community-first builders, contractors, and tradespeople who partner with us, donating materials, and labor to create more affordable homes in Idaho.

Beyond donating labor and materials, our partners offer guidance on design and construction decisions. Members of the Builder’s Network make projects possible that would otherwise be financially out of reach.

These partnerships have already helped renovate and restore homes that now serve Idaho families and seniors in need of long-term affordable housing.

RCA pro plumbing

RCA Pro Plumbing supports LEAP developments behind the scenes, helping ensure homes are safe, functional, and built to last. Good plumbing may not be flashy, but it is crucial to having functional, safe housing.

RCA stepped in with crucial support for Golden Glow Tower, in Nampa. In November, we had an emergency water heater outage, and RCA provided at-cost parts and service to take care of our seniors right away. RCA has also given hot water heaters for various housing projects. RCA has donated over $30,000 in material and services to LEAP since partnering with us, we are so grateful for their support.

With a team of highly qualified scientists, engineers, and certified inspectors, Atlas supports LEAP with environmental testing work to ensure our sites are safe for building and living.

Builders Network Contribution: Atlas recently donated $2,500 off of their services (which were otherwise $11,000) of environmental testing work at Sycamore Commons Phase 2.
This kind of practical partnership makes it easier for LEAP to build more affordable housing units in our community.

other members on
the Builder’s Network

The LEAP Builder’s Network is a group of mission-minded builders who support leap housing’s work
to create or preserve affordable housing throughout Idaho. Rehabbing properties and placing them in the state’s
affordable housing inventory simply isn’t possible without donations of labor and/or materials.

This group is answering the call.

Flynner has built more than 25 homes for LEAP since 2020 - some rentals, some homeownership, all affordable. By donating his GC services toward LEAP’s rehab efforts, Flynner connected LEAP with a rolodex of tradespeople and material providers to make preservation of an existing home a possibility. And not to mention, Flynner has provided LEAP with invaluable guidance in making the most effective and affordable design decisions. Contact Flynner by visiting their website at www.Flynner.com.

It wouldn’t be a rehab if it didn’t need a new roof! To help make the project a reality and to serve the community, Nalin Enterprises donated labor to put on a new roof and with a healthy ventilation system that the home previously didn’t have. Nalin also installed brand new facia. Nalin didn’t just help make the project work financially, Nalin also helped create a healthier ecosystem for the home.

All Pro Refinishing generously provided the shower surround and valves at cost for our project at 111 High St. The surrounds were irreparable and could not be salvaged. Thank goodness for Marcus and his team who was able to educate and identify the various shower surround products available for our project. All Pro does just about any construction project, and they first started working with LEAP when they installed a low-threshold shower  at Golden Glow Tower, a 64-unit senior housing complex. Contact Marcus@AllProRR.com

From owner John Eastman, “I've had the privilege to install HVAC units or provide HVAC maintenance on 100s of homes throughout the Treasure Valley for several years. I've seen the ups and downs in the market, but it has mostly been ups during the last several years. With housing prices what they are, I can play a small role and still run a business by contributing my labor.” A big kudos to John for a significant discount to labor and materials while making this home more energy efficient and eco-minded than it ever used to be!

Braden and his crew raised their hands right away. They joined Climate Control for the walk-through at the High Street project and provided a discount to their labor and materials to help the mission. Braden was fast, efficient and professional. We love Pristine and are excited to see them grow as they establish their roots in the community as a top-notch provider of electrical services. They’ve already gone on to provide more services to properties in our portfolio. Thank you, Pristine! Contact Braden at https://pesidaho.com/

ProPac Interiors transformed some of our inconsistent ceiling materials and textures into a one consistent material and texture throughout the house. Gone is the popcorn ceiling and flimsy random ceiling tiles! Shaun and his crew also took care of the holes in the wall from the HVAC install and scars left behind by the old baseboard heating system. Thanks ProPac for your expertise and significant discount! Thanks to Mr. Mudd and their significant discount, affordable housing in Nampa has a new look. Mr. Mudd repaired the front and back stoops that were beyond degraded, and they added new back patio space to expand the useable footprint of this 2-bed, 1-bath home. Aesthetically, they improved the property by removing unnecessary concrete and created a walkway from the driveway to the front door. Fresh gravel and Vuba Stone resurfacer are the icing on the cake that helped restore dignity to this property’s curb appeal. Request a quote at https://www.mrmuddconcrete.com/contact-us/.
