RESIDENT SERVICES

LEAP’s Resident Services program works to ensure that all residents have the opportunity to live in a strong, healthy, and stable community. We do this by connecting residents to the resources they need to ensure long-term housing stability so they can plan for the future. You can find everything from educational and training tools related to your LEAP home and handy resources available to help you find solutions to conquer any obstacles encountered.

think of affordable housing as a 3 legged stool…

Without its legs to hold it up, a stool can’t stand. If you kick one of its legs, it can’t perform its function. A bit metaphorical, but stay with us

One leg of the “stool” is homelessness prevention. Our nonprofit friends over at CATCH focus on homelessness prevention through housing-first best practices, empowering those without housing and building collaborative partnerships within the community.

The second leg of the metaphorical “stool” is rent assistance and prevention. Jesse Tree, a Boise-based nonprofit whose mission is to prevent homelessness in the Treasure Valley by focusing on emergency rent assistance for folks at risk of eviction.

The last leg of our “stool” is affordable housing development. That’s where LEAP comes in. Our mission to create or preserve affordable housing opportunities means we’re continuously working on housing development throughout Idaho. You can check out our housing portfolio here.

So you get it, creating affordable housing opportunities in our communities means working together with like-missioned-minded organizations because one without the other means we can’t stand together.
