My position and main responsibilities at LEAP are…

With over two decades of experience working in the nonprofit housing sector, I understand that the success of nonprofits comes through creating strong partnerships with everyone. In my role as LEAP’s Homeownership Manager, I work closely with community members interested in purchasing a LEAP home and help folks get one step closer to buying a home with various downpayment assistance products and services including the LEAP Loan Fund.

As a military family, my experience working in the nonprofit housing sector has taken me to Spokane, Washington, where I started a nonprofit housing agency, to Colorado where I worked assisting homeless families through transitional housing, and to Boise, Idaho where I previously served as the Director of Homeownership for NeighborWorks Boise.

When I’m not working I am…

Spending time with my close-knit family made up of my husband, three kids, and four grandkids. In the summertime, we love boating/surfing with family and friends or at a racetrack somewhere, and in the colder months we hit the snowy hills and mountains.

I’m in nonprofit work, and specifically inspired by LEAP, because…

When I first opened the doors to nonprofits some 20 years ago, I had no idea the impact one person could make, let alone the impact a group of mission-minded folks could have. I believe that this work is my purpose, and as a longtime supporter of LEAP's work, I admire the direct and indirect impact LEAP has on helping families access safe and affordable housing.
