How do I apply?

Applications will be available online starting at 8:00am on Wednesday, May 27th. Applicants can pick up an application on-site at Windy Court 2 (9958 W. Shields Ave in Boise) on Friday, May 29th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We encourage all applicants to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Online applications will be available at HERE and must be dropped off at 9958 W Shields Ave. Applications will only be accepted Friday, May 29th from 9am-5pm. Applications must be complete, and will be processed based on the timestamp of their submission.

What items need to be included with my application?

A $30 per adult application fee must be included in the form of a money order for your application to be complete. If we do not run reports on the application, we will not charge the applicant and the fee will be returned. Please refer to the Application Guide for more information regarding required documents. What is included with Windy Court 2?

Windy Court 2 is a four-home affordable housing community of four-bedroom, two-bathroom units. Per federally mandated rent limits, one unit will rent at $864/mo and three at $1,067/mo, including water, sewer, trash and power. Each comes with a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Each unit also comes with two dedicated parking spaces, one that is covered. A playground and garden boxes are included in the community.

How do I know if I am qualified?

Windy Court 2 serves households who make 50% and 30% of area median income (AMI) & with a preference toward households with a member who is elderly or has a disability. To find out if you are income-qualified at 50% AMI, you can check here. To see if you are income qualified at 30% AMI, check here. Applicants who are over the income limits will not qualify. You may still apply if you do not know if you are income-qualified.

When will I be notified of my application status?

Applicants will be notified in writing within ten (10) days of receipt of the application as to the acceptance or denial of this application. Once all units are filled, the remaining applicant's names will be placed on the waiting list. If your application is completed but our units are already at capacity, your name must go onto a wait list. The wait list will be ordered based off of the timestamp of the application, with preference given to households with a member who is elderly or has a disability. If your application is accepted, the projected move in date is June 19, 2020.
