Collaboration and partnerships with other like-minded organizations is a very important value of LEAP Housing Solutions. LEAP works very closely with the two resettlement agencies in Boise (the International Rescue Committee and Agency for New Americans) in order to make Welcome Housing possible. Other organizations that have been instrumental partnerships include:
indieDwell is a certified B Corporation based in Caldwell, ID that builds healthy, durable, energy efficient, sustainable housing at the lowest cost possible in partnership with foundations, non-profits, housing authorities and like minded developers. indieDwell built all eight homes at Windy Court. indieDwell is LEAP's preferred and only builder of affordable housing projects.
Neighbors United is a collaborative initiative to help refugees successfully integrate and thrive in Boise. It is made up of more than one hundred community leaders, policy makers, service agency representatives, resettled refugees, volunteers, educators and more. LEAP Housing Solutions is trailblazing the Housing subcommittee to meet Neighbors United top priority of temporary housing.
Property People is a for-profit company that provides funding to LEAP Charities for the sake of social impact. Property People currently manages the Davis Park and Stewart Apartments and is interested in exploring more affordable housing options in Boise.
North End Collective Church
North End Collective Church (NECC) is a non-denominational Christian Church located in the North End of Boise, Idaho committed to be a people collectively joining with God in the restoration of all creation by living in the Way of Jesus. NECC has been a consistent source of financial support and volunteers.
Glocal Community Partners
Glocal Community Partners conducts trainings once a month that LEAP volunteers attend to gain insight on partnering with new Americans in our community. They recently are winners of the Idaho Office of Refugee's Champion Award for their good works in the refugee community. They are always in more need of volunteers and donated items.
Community Leadership & Development Inc.
CLDI is based out of Billings, Montana and is focused on transforming their community empowering the people in it. They have a focus on affordable housing and have been acting as an mentor and advocate to LEAP.
Boise/Ada County Homeless Coalition is dedicated to advocacy for persons experiencing homelessness. It is a diverse membership group of homeless service provider agencies, homeless persons, volunteers, advocates, and concerned individuals committed to ending homelessness. LEAP is now a member and continues to explore affordable and transitional housing solutions.
